Asaduzzaman appreciates the Prime Minister for development initiatives!

Dhaka, Bangladesh (CU)_ Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, stating that she leads Bangladesh with her efficient leadership and has transformed the nation through her innovative development initiatives, which have improved the nation to a great extent.

According to him, Bangladesh has greatly improved under the leadership of the prime minister. He said, “Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, in his 7th March speech, said ‘you cannot suppress the seven crore people’. Bangabandhu’s daughter proved that. Bangladesh has changed positively under the leadership of the PM”.

The home minister made these remarks as he placed a wreath at the shrine of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj. Regarding the development initiatives, he stated that Bangabandhu’s daughter gave the Padma Bridge to the people against all conspiracies.

The minister was pleased with the completion of the Padma Bridge since the trip from Dhaka to Tungipara is now quite comfortable. Moreover, with the opening of the bridge, the transport, trade, tourism and business activities of the surrounding regions are also expected to boost. Asaduzzaman paid tribute at the shrine of the Father of the Nation by placing a wreath, and then offered fateha and special prayers for the souls of the August 15 massacre victims, particularly Bangabandhu.

The event was also attended by a number of prominent leaders and officials including Dr. Benazir Ahmed, Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP); Shahida Sultana, Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner (DC); Ayesha Siddique, Superintendent of Police (SP); Mahabub Ali Khan, District Awami League General Secretary; Md Babul Sheikh, Tungipara Upazila Awami League General Secretary; Md. Ilias Hossain, Vice President; Sheikh Saiful, Municipal Awami League General Secretary; and other local Awami League leaders.
